Now

A short, human-readable snapshot of what I am working on now.

Current focus

  • Graph neural network-based structure recognition for handwritten mathematical expressions.
  • Multimodal handwriting recognition using online stroke information and offline rendered images.
  • Automatic scoring of handwritten answers in mathematics, science, Japanese, and English.
  • Process-aware scoring of geometry construction tasks using digital ink from electronic drawing tools.
  • Educational AI systems integrated with LMS platforms such as Moodle, while preserving handwriting traces for analysis.

Writing and research output

I am preparing and revising research outputs related to handwritten mathematical expression recognition, automatic scoring, electronic drawing compass data, and handwriting-based LMS assessment.

Career direction

I am interested in roles that connect advanced AI research with practical deployment, especially in computer vision, multimodal AI, document intelligence, educational AI, applied AI, and product-oriented R&D.

Outside work

I enjoy football, badminton, running, photography, and cycling.
